The pastors of seven mountaintop churches will host a community wide picnic to thank the 100-plus community volunteers who provided an excessive number of hours during the recent 5th Annual Mountaintop Heritage Days seeing to food stands and all the various support required to host the thousands of people who attended the event. Additionally, they would like to show their appreciation for those who attended the first community worship service on June 27th. The offering from that worship service will be divided and presented at 12:45 p.m. to the Help Hotline, a food bank serving the mountaintop communities, and Hope Alive, a community ministry that provides safe shelter for women and their children.
