Reading Night

What is scientifically-based reading instruction, and why does it matter to your child's future? Come hear from two nationally known experts talk about the options we are considering for our reading program, and get a free assessment of your kindergartner's or first grader's phonemic awareness from a current FCPS reading tutor. We'll show you the language arts materials we plan to use. Time and place: C. Burr Artz Library, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
We are a proposed Frederick County public school and will be FREE to Frederick County residents in grades K-8, slated to open in Fall 2011, pending the approval of our charter from the Frederick County Board of Education .
