The artists of Gallery 322 are pleased to announce the opening of their October exhibition, “Painting into the Night”. The show features paintings of night scenes, both urban and rural. While everyone is familiar with scenes done in full light, even the most commonplace settings develop an aura of mystery once the sun sets. The glow of the moon, evening stars and twinkling streetlights evoke illusive effects, veiled shadows and traces of color. The show demonstrates the unique vision and style of each artist. From monumental landscapes to intimate street settings there is a wide range of compelling images for the viewer to enjoy. Reception 5-8 p.m. on October 6, as part of Frederick's First Saturday celebration
