The Shepherdstown School of Dance announces their 6th annual Nutcracker Performance at the Frank Arts Center at Shepherd University. Curtains will rise at 2pm and 7pm on December 8, and 2pm on December 9.

This year’s performance features students of Shepherdstown School of Dance, a number of community members, as well as two professional dancers, including Kitty Clarke, founder of Goose Route Arts Collaborative and Jordan Nelson, who has trained with the Ballet Chicago, a Suzanne Farrell Ballet and interned at the Royal Ballet.

Tickets are available at Shepherdstown School of Dance and Encore Apparel in Motion in Shepherdstown and are $13 in advance and $18 after December 7, 2012. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Shepherdstown Elementary School and Shepherdstown Middle School PTA groups.
