Gear up for the “most wonderful time of the year” with Brunswick Main Street’s annual Hometown Holidays. Start out with a breakfast with Santa at the Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance Company from 6 AM to 11 AM. Then stroll downtown and enjoy treats, crafts and meet with Santa at the Kaplon building at the corner of W. Potomac St and S. Maryland Ave. Visit the shops and partake in all the holiday cheer from 11 AM till 3 PM. Crafts, gifts and goodies await you through-out the downtown. Kids can make ornaments, decorate cookies and make crafts. Bigger kids can get pampered, sample goodies and find great gift ideas. Maps of the downtown with the various activities will be available at the Kaplon building and shops downtown. Join the fun at the Kid’s Christmas Party from 3 PM to 5 PM at the American Legion Building on S. Maple Ave. After the party, head out to listen to the Brunswick Elementary School Choir at Square Corner Park at 5:30 PM. When the choir has finished join us for the official tree lighting ceremony at Railroad Square Park at 6:30 PM. Add to the fun by going on the Greater Brunswick Area Church Tour from 3 PM to & 7PM or visiting the 1000 points of light luminaries at the Park Heights Cemetery from dusk to 8 PM.
