Residents of Allview Drive in Mt. Pleasant are asking visitors to pick their favorite Christmas light display. Voters can place a “vote” with a canned food item in one of 13 stockings attached to the mailboxes of participating houses – by selecting the stocking (or stockings) of their favorite lighted display on the street. All collected non-perishable food donations will be sent to the Frederick County Food Bank. This is held 6-10 p.m. on Dec. 14, 15, 21 and 22.
