Program designed for individuals in the early stages of dementia and their caregivers. This course introduces basic collage techniques with emphasis on creative expression from found objects including family photographs, fabrics, and personal pieces from the past. Both the person with memory problems and caregivers will develop collages using personal style and unique items under the guidance of nationally exhibited artist Deborah Winram. Students will also take short tours of the Delaplaine Center's galleries for inspiration and information. Cost $30 for series. Registration required.
