How did Frederick County slaves live? What kind of work did they do? How did they attain freedom? Homeschool families can explore these topics in a program that includs discussion, role-play, music, and a craft. The program takes place in spaces where slaves actually lived and worked.
The program takes about 1.5 hours and families can participate anytime during the day. The cost is $3 per child; parents and leaders are free. Registration at least one week in advance is required.
