The first Bethesda Film Fest will feature five short documentaries made by local filmmakers at a screening scheduled at 8pm, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Imagination Stage, 4908 Auburn Ave. in downtown Bethesda. Bethesda Film Fest is produced by the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District.

The films selected for the screening include:
Baffle their Minds with Bullsh*t, Kerry Leigh
Into the Lime Lite
The Plan
Porchfest
The Rights of Butterflies

The evening will include a discussion with the filmmakers after the screenings. Tickets are available at www.bethesda.org for $10. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door.

Films were chosen by the Bethesda Film Fest selection panel, consisting of Angelica Das, Associate Director at the Center for Social Media at American University’s School of Communication; David Stern, Director of Digital Media at Imagination Stage, and members of the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District Board of Directors.
