We belong to many different faith traditions but beauty dwells and beckons beyond the walls of our synagogues, mosques, temples, and churches. Drawing on the theme of beauty, we will focus on its classical and contemporary expressions, its relation to goodness, and, its ability to unite us to God and to each other. We will discuss beauty in nature and in art and, the beauty of God, especially as it has been expressed by the major world religions. Mark your calendar and plan to join us for this full-day retreat where we will explore and share the many ways that we experience “the beautiful” in our lives. The day will include presentations, prayer or quiet-time, story-telling, small group discussion, and music.
