NATIONAL CANCER PREVENTION STUDY-3 KICKOFF FOR CARROLL COUNTY AT CARROLL HOSPITAL CENTER
The American Cancer Society is seeking cancer fighters in Carroll County to participate in Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3), a historic, nationwide study to help researchers better understand the genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors that cause or prevent cancer. Champions and supporters of the American Cancer Society are coming together to kick off the enrollment drive for CPS-3 in Carroll County. Champions are community residents – including cancer survivors, caregivers or those honoring a loved one who has battled cancer – who have volunteered to help drive CPS-3 awareness. At the kickoff, they will learn about CPS-3 and receive the tools to educate the community and recruit participants.

Enrollment takes place from March 12 -16, 2013 in partnership with Carroll Hospital Center, Four Seasons Sports Complex, M & T Bank and Merritt Athletic Club.
