Hospice of Frederick County’s Bereavement Program is holding a Financial Speed Bumps of Grief Seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. The emotional impact of grief evokes a variety of reactions during the grief journey. Often the emotional waves of grief may often be interrupted by “speed bumps” of complicated and complex financial red tape. These legal issues have a priority of their own and the grieving person becomes detoured from doing the emotional work of grief.
This seminar is open to individuals who have experienced the death of their spouse and for adult children dealing with the death of parents.
Leading the seminar will be Daniel Tregoning, attorney. This is a free seminar. Space is limited and registration is required by Friday, Feb. 3.
