The speakers are people who are or have been homeless. Both work to educate the public about homelessness and what can be done to end it. Their goal is to break stereotypes, myths, and misconceptions people have about homelessness by putting a human ‘face’ to homelessness by hearing personal testimonials. Opportunities to learn more about local services for the poor and homeless as well as volunteer positions available, will be presented at the program.
