Toastmasters International is holding its annual Area 51 Speech Contest at the C. Burr Artz Library of Frederick, MD between 12pm and 3pm on Saturday April 10th. Contestants from local Toastmasters clubs in the area will compete in two categories: Prepared Speech and Table Topics. The best speaker from each category will proceed to compete at the Toastmasters Division D Speech Contest between 2pm and 5pm on Sunday April 18th in the C. Burr Artz Library of Frederick. Anyone interested in enhancing their leadership and communication skills through the Toastmasters' programs, are welcome to attend both speech contests at our main (downtown Frederick) library. Our contests are a valuable tool in building confidence in public speaking.
